Staying Musically Active

What a FUN group of members we have in the Augusta Music Teacher's Association!  I always enjoy seeing teachers individually when they come to Turner's Keyboards for books, sheet music and other supplies.  It is even more delightful getting together with them at workshops and meetings.  To see photos, visit my gallery.  There are a lot of activities planned for the remainder of this year and the upcoming (2013).  At the AMTA meeting, we were given yearbooks (photo above) with a schedule of workshops, community outreach programs, spring festival, and competitions.

In addition to AMTA, I will be active with the National Suzuki Association, attending workshops and participating in graduation recitals in the Atlanta area.  Students and I will be participating in the 2013 Suzuki Music Camp in Louisville, KY.  I'll be working on getting a local Suzuki chapter started  for the Augusta area.  This weekend, I will be meeting teachers in the Aiken Music Teacher's Association.  This is going to be a very busy and exciting year!
