I believe in having a DYNAMIC studio!!! Not only do we work on piano technique and performance.....we enjoy off-bench activities that teaches theory concepts. Some are games played in our computer lab. Others are handcrafted games that I create or download from loving teacher on the internet that share freely. Below are a few examples.

| Teddy Bear Keyboard Race |
| Lucas and Nolan picks and alphabet out of the bag, and find where it is located on the keyboard. The first person to reach the end is the winner! |

| Suzuki Solos Progress Chart |
We work on perfecting the tone and technique hands separately, then together. The aim is to receive a happy face for each solo in the book. When the left hadn is perfected, the students receive the left half of a circle. The right half of a circle is received when the right hand tone and technique is correct. When student can perform the song beautifully hands together, they stamp a happy face onto the entire circle.

Lucas learns that there are 7 letters of the music alphabet. He puts together the Alphabet Train puzzle forward, then backwards.....G-F-E-D-C-B-A!

| Keyboard Recognition Game |
Matching game based on identifying keys on the keyboard. Students are to match the alphabet with they keys selected on the flashcards.

| Candy Land Music Game |
Keyboard recognition review using an altered Candy Land game. Students
are to identify the keys on the flashcards, and place their game piece
on the matching alphabet on the game board. Many thanks to
