Tuesday Music Live With Ronée

The City of Augusta experienced an enormous treat during the Tuesday Music Live Luncheon Concert Series at the historical St. Paul's. We had the honor of listening to an award-winning pianist from Toronto, Canada named Ronée Boyce. Ronée serves as artistic director of Canada's Neapolitan Connection Concert Series and is co-founder with French cellist Gwendeline Lumaret of Duo Primo piano & cello ensemble. It was additionally inspiring to learn that Ronée is fluent in English, French and Spanish, speaks basic Italian, Romanian and Czech...and is currently learning Russian.

Not only did Ronée capture us with her beauty and artistry, she touched our hearts through her grace, warmth, and humility. She lovingly made time for each and every individual that approached her after the concert. Her positivity went even further. Ronée sent a special shout-out of encouragement to my piano students that wanted to come see her but couldn't due to attending school. Many thanks to her! They "LOVE" it!!!

Following the concert, lunch was served in the elegant River Room of Saint Paul's, overlooking the Savannah River on Augusta's historic riverfront.  It was a joy to be seated at the same table with Ronée and her mom to learn more about them!  

The entire experience made my day, and I am thankful to Lisa T. Maddox of Turner's Keyboards for inviting me as her special guest to the event! I also want to thank her for the beautiful flowers she gifted me that day.
