Treasured Experiences

Robert and I have been enjoying our DVD of the 10-Piano Concert in Matsumoto, Japan. As I view the DVD, I am reminded of all the fun that we had during our visit to Japan! To get a small taste of what we experienced during the concert, watch Robert and his Suzuki friends performing  Minuet 1 by Mozart, and my speech during the teacher's interview segment. The videos are below at the conclusion of this blog post.

In a previous post, I shared photos that I took while in Japan in the following galleries:

Suzuki Talent Education Institute

The next photos that I will share is the Shinichi Suzuki Memorial Hall. Included in the gallery are photos of Dr. Suzuki and Dr. Kataoka's gravesite. These photos will be helpful to students that are doing their research assignments regarding them. To view the photos, visit here:

The photos take a brief moment to load in divided groups as you view along the webpage. You will know that it has fully loaded as you scroll down and see a black button at the bottom of the webpage that reads "Back To Top".

Below are links to scenic views in both Matsumoto and Suwa, Japan. Click on the photos below to be taken to the galleries.

I'm adding a few photos in this post of other exciting experiences that Robert had such as his interview during the 10-Piano concert, and his interviews on news segments -Channel 12 and Fox 54. He was also published in the May/June issue of the Suzuki Piano Basics Foundation News, and I have been published in the July/August issue.

I am thrilled and blessed to have such an intelligent, well mannered and dedicated student. Robert continues to stay busy and engaged in his piano studies.  In addition to practicing his Suzuki Piano solos and technical studies, he is practicing solos that have been requested for an upcoming wedding that he will be performing for. ("All My Life", K-Ci & Jojo and "All of Me" by John Legend). Way to go, Robert! You ROCK!!!!
