The following links will be directed to pages where assignments are posted to help students with their study and connection
to the pieces they will perform in the Suzuki Piano School Books. I am working to complete the webpage for Book 1 and will continue on with the others.
-Book 1 Assignments
-Book 2 Assignments
-Book 3 Assignments
Students are to put the results of their study from the assignments in their Suzuki notebook. (Middle photo above.) When the book has been completed and the student is ready for their Suzuki Graduation Party, the notebook pages can be coil-binded to their Suzuki book to keep as a reference and a journal of activities done while studying Suzuki book 1. I encourage my students to include photos of workshops, concerts, festivals and their graduation party in their Suzuki journals.
Below is an example of my student's Suzuki piano book made into a journal.

Another exciting project that we do during our studies is Suzuki Letterboxing! Upon the completion of each assignment and successful performance of the piece studied, students will be given clues to find letterbox treasures based upon composer and other facts learned while doing the assignments! To Learn more about letterboxing, please visit the following links: VIDEOS -What is Letterboxing -Letterboxing How To Students carve their own signature stamps to stamp into the journals found within the letterboxes.
